The Swift M5 series microscopes are ideal for college laboratories and veterinary applications.

• Body: Binocular or trinocular head is available. The head is inclined 45° and rotatable for ergonomic viewing. Anti-mold finishing. Microscope has a quadruple nosepiece. A quintuple nosepiece is available, please call for deatils and ordering information on quintuple nosepiece or trinocular head.
• Objective Lenses: Your choice of semi-plan, plan or plan phase contrast objectives. DIN standard. The 40x and 100x objectives are spring loaded and sealed to protect optics from contact or oil damage. Inward-facing quadruple nosepiece is standard, quintuple nosepiece is available, please call for information.

• Eyepieces: Siedentopf head provides large interpupillary range and is ergonomically positioned for operator comfort. Widefield 10x eyepieces have a 20mm field of view.

• Specimen Stage: Large research-level, low-drive, mechanical stage accommodates 2 slides at a time.
• Focusing: Focus-tension control knob offers "feather-touch" sensitivity for extremely precise focusing for both coarse and fine focusing. High-grade synthetic lubricants provide smooth, precise operation.
• Condenser:
  • Abbe NA 1.25 brightfield condenser is included with semi-plan or plan objectives.
  • Quodmaster® Phase Contrast condenser is included with phase contrast objectives. This condenser has options for brightfield, darkfield and phase contrast work.
• Illumination: 6v, 20x halogen illumination with variable intensity control. Swing-out filter holder accommodates various diffusing filters.
