The Swift SM101 series stereo microscopes offer magnification of 10x & 30x with three energy efficient variable bright LED light sources.
- Objective Lenses: Includes built-in 1x & 3x objectives.
- Eyepieces: Binocular viewing head rotates 360°, locks in place by tightening thumb screw. Interlocked eyepiece tubes with diopter for increased focus ability. Paired widefield 10x eyepieces (20mm field of view) are 45° inclined, with diopter adjustment. Interpupillary adjustment from 55mm to 75mm. 15, 20x and 30x eyepieces are available, see below. 10x Eyepieces accept 25mm reticle.
- Total Magnification: 10x & 30x. Magnification is changed by rotating dial. Field of view at 10x is 20mm, field of view at 30x is 6.5mm.

- Specimen Stage: Includes locked-on stage clips for securing specimen, 80mm reversible black and white stage contrast plate and 80mm frosted glass stage plate. Blue filter included for transmitted light.
- Stand: Rugged, cast metal frame with gray enamel finish. Includes cord hangers for corded version.
- Focusing: Rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch and tension adjustment. Slip-clutch system protects against over-focusing.
- Illumination: Available corded or cordless (select below when ordering). Cordless version includes recharger, batteries allow up to 500 recharges, for a total of 25,000 hrs use. Battery recharger shuts off once charged, no danger of over-charging. Energy efficient LED lights provide bright, white and virtually heat-free light. Variable turret (6 LED) lights around objective base, top LED light and bottom LED illumination provide options for illumination. Two illumination switches allow for five light settings including: turret, top, bottom, simultaneous turret and bottom or simultaneous top and bottom.
